Astronomy Club

Established since 15th September 2007 (Officially during YEC BGM)

The purpose of this club is to bring together graduate student astronomers from various school institutions who wish to further pursue astronomy as their hobby at MPCC. . The club's driving force lies in conducting numerous stargazing sessions and activities for the local residents so as to promote social interaction and social cohesiveness among neighbours, all through the common interest in our night sky. And more importantly too, our club aims to create an "immersion" experience for people to get to interact and network with local amateur astronomers while learning everything about Astronomy ranging from the celestial bodies to telescopes to the fundamentals of Astronomy as a science.
